Driving Lessons
We design a personal lesson plan to suit your lifestyle
and work commitments. Our iDrive branded cars
include the Ford Fiesta and Mazda 2 so you can be
sure you will also pass your test in style!
Initially, we will establish how many lessons you will
need based on your driving experience. Don't
worry, most of our pupils are new to driving. We
will guide you through each step to get you
confidently through to your test day as soon as
possible.
iDrive instructors combine theory and practice during
your lessons so that what you learn in theory is put
into practice so you become a safe and confident
driver after the day you pass your test.
We even run a 'mock test' so you're absolutely ready
for the real thing! The structure of our lessons and
quality of our instructors gives you the best chance
of passing first time.

Pass Plus (DSA recommended)
After you've passed we offer Pass Plus which is a course of 6 lessons to gain valuable driving experience quickly. One in five new drivers will have an accident within their first year of driving. Pass Plus will reduce the risk and boost your confidence. It can also save you money on car insurance premiums.
Theory Test
The two parts which make up the test are multiple choice and hazard perception. Before you can book your test, you'll need to pass both sections. This is why we focus on hazard perception training during your lessons. You will learn what signs mean and about road etiquette so you begin to anticipate dangers before they occur. The theory test is there to identify whether you are able to read the road.

iDrive can teach you to become a driving instructor
and before long you could be working with the
iDrive team or running your own driving school.
We deliver the highest standard of training on
a one-to-one basis, covering all aspects of the
syllabus.
If you are 21 or over with a clean licence you can
learn to become an instructor.

What you will need
- A full UK (or in some cases European EU/EEA unrestricted) driving licence which has been held for more than a total of 4 years in the last 6 years prior to entering the Register after qualifying but a foreign and automatic licence count towards the 4 years.
- Not have been disqualified from driving at any time in the four years prior to being entered into the Register.
- Be a fit and proper person.
- Any convictions or motoring offences still in force will be taken into account when your suitability is assessed (subject to the Rehabilitation Of Offenders Act 1974).
- Pass the Register qualification exam and register within 12 months of doing so.
